There are two major components to gaining muscle and one is more overlooked than the other one.. but both as important.


Diet & Exercise


Diet is the most overlooked component of gaining muscle. You can do all the workouts you want but if your not eating enough you will NOT grow.


If you are eating below the needed calories requirments to cause growth and working out regular.


Your going to lose bodyfat and the visualisation of the muscle could become easer to see because there is less fat surrounding them.


But this is post is specifically talking about muscle growth. (Increase the size, density and weight of muscle on your body).


You need to be in a calorie surplus to cause that increase.


Overweight people have alot or muscle on their body due to calories surplus. Yes the may have more fat covering it but alot of muscles is needed to carry the extra weight around and they are in calories surplus.


Overeating and inactivity causes an increase in excess body fat and an increase in muscle.


Over eating and a workout plan will cause your muscles to grow and lower the amount of fat on your body.


Now the TYPE of Foods you Overeating also matters. What is it your eating ?


And this is just as important as the TYPE of workout plan your doing also matters. Is your workouts planned around muscle growth?


Understanding the fundamentals of Diet & Exercise is the key to unlocking growth.


Both are as important as the other.
